The Prep Tour
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I register for an event? All registration forms for both spring and summer schedules are located in the REGISTRATION section. Competitors must submit registration form, parent/player waiver form and submit payment in order to be properly registered for an event. The Prep Tour will confirm your completed registration for events via the email address you provide on your registration form.
Can I submit multiple registration forms and multiple payments or must they all be on one form? You may submit as many registration forms as you like. However, you need only submit one player/parent waiver which covers the entire golf season for that year.
Are there any membership or registration fees associated with The Prep Tour? No. Only tournament fees are charged per tournament. No additional membership or yearly fees are charged.
I see where some events are single days, while others are 2 Day Events. Can I sign up for just 1 day of a 2 day event?
2 Day Events are nationally ranked Junior Golf Scoreboard events. You must sign up for both days in order to compete.
How are your divisions/seasons determined? To coincide with Junior Golf Scoreboard guidelines, your division is determined by the scholastic grade you are currently in when playing in that season's event (Spring Season - Current Grade, Summer Season-Upcoming Fall Grade).
Spring Season - March -May For example, if you are currently an 8th grader, you would compete in the Junior High Division of the Prep Tour Spring Events. Once you graduate from your current grade, you move up to the next higher division for the next Season.
Summer Season - June - August (Division determined by the school year you are going into the upcoming Fall)
For example, if you will graduate from 8th grade in May/June; you would compete in the Freshman/Sophomore Division of the Prep Tour for the Summer Season events. If you will graduate from Sophomore year of High School in May/June, you now play in the Junior/Senior Division of the Prep Tour for summer events.
Junior High Boys - one division for 6th-8th graders.
High School Boys Divisions are determined by the year you will graduate from High School. Freshman and Sophomore boys compete together in one division, Junior and Senior boys compete together in one division.
High School Girls - all in one division.
Collegiate Men - one division at select events.
Junior High Girls - select events will be eligible for Junior High Girls (6th-8th grades).
