Tournament Information

What: A Ryder Cup format Challenge Match against the Chicago based IJGA (Illinois Junior Golf Association)

When: July 14 & July 15 2018
Where: Weaver Ridge GC Peoria
Time: 1:00 pm start both days
Who: 12 Boys and 4 HS Girls
Qualifiers only
2018 graduates eligible

Tournament Format

Saturday 8 Partner Matches - 8 Points available, each match worth 1 point. Matches can be halved.

Format (Saturday) Stroke Play Tee Times start @ 1:00
Holes 1-6: Alternate Shot (each player will hit their tee shot, pick the best tee shot and play true alternate shot after)
Holes 7-12: Scramble (each player will hit their shot off the tee and pick the best shot and repeat)
Holes 13-18: Best Ball (play your own golf ball and take the best score on each hole)

A player may compete in as many of the 14 Challenge Cup events as they choose.
Challenge Cup standings will be based on each players 5 best performances .
Points will be awarded to the top 10.
Pekin CC / Weaver will be a "weighted" event.
